Suzanne Diermann, B. Ed., International Dyslexia Association member, Certified Structured Literacy Specialist \u2013 LETRS, and Associate IT with the Academy of Orton Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE)<\/p>\n

As a classroom teacher and literacy intervention specialist, with many years of experience in both public and private school settings, Suzanne utilizes her thorough knowledge of Orton Gillingham methodologies and the principles of structured literacy. Her pedagogy and teaching practices are reflective of this deep understanding; in her one-on-one educational therapy work.<\/p>\n

Suzanne provides screening and assessments, therapeutic intervention and tutoring<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0for children who are experiencing reading and writing difficulties or have been diagnosed with Dyslexia.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 A child does not need a formal diagnosis to receive remediation. Sessions are 45 minutes to 1 hour in length, either in person or on-line and are individually customized<\/strong><\/em> to each student’s knowledge, needs, pace, and skills. Illuminate Literacy is based in Calgary, AB.<\/p>\n
